Laurie married life-long resident, Sheldon Sobol and together have 3 boys. Before moving back to Morris, she and her husband lived and worked in Chicago. She enjoyed a very successful career in sales and has learned the importance of knowing your product and your marketplace. She continues to take courses in real estate and supports the National Association of Realtors in their continuing effort to initiate programs that benefit the home buyer or seller.

Her specialty is residential, commercial and farmland. She is a member of the National Association of Realtors, Illinois Association of Realtors and the Three Rivers Association of Realtors. Laurie graduated from Arizone State University with a degree in Sociology with an emphasis on Communications. She is an active sponsor of many sporting events and coaches many sports teams throught the year. For the past 5 years, she has coached the Morris High School Pom squad with whom she has brought home 16 state champion titles. In addition to this, she actively volunteers in the school system and throughout the community. This in fact has made a huge impact on her referral and repeat business!
